Headquartered in Carmel, Indiana, ITT Educational Services, Inc. is a leading private college system centered on technology-focused programs. ITT mainly provides career-orientated degree programs to approximately 54,000 students. Since 1969, ITT has been aggressively involved in the higher education community in the United States.
There are six schools at the ITT Technical Institutes which includes: School of Information Technology, School of Drafting and Design, School of Electronics Technology, School of Business, School of Criminal Justice, and School of Health Sciences. The focus is on teaching skills and knowledge that can be used to begin careers in a global technology-driven culture.
Most ITT Technical Institute programs of study blend traditional academic content with applied learning concepts, with a significant portion devoted to practical study in a lab environment. Advisory committees, comprised of representatives of local businesses and employers, help each ITT Technical Institute periodically assess and update curricula, equipment and laboratory design.

ITT Tech Accreditation
The ITT Technical Institute in Indianapolis, Indiana is accredited by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools (ACICS), which is an accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. Each ITT Technical Institute is either authorized or licensed by the state in which it is located and is accredited by or in the process of seeking accreditation from an accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
ITT Tech was originally founded in 1946. At the time, it was known as Educational Services, Inc. and was operated as a for-profit organisation. In 1969, the company was renamed to ITT Tech and relocated to Carmel, Indiana. Today, ITT Tech operates campuses in over 30 states and draws thousands of students from across the nation.

All ITT Technical Institutes (except in some instances the most recently opened institutes) are eligible to participate in the federal student financial aid programs authorized under Title IV of the Higher Education Act of 1965, as amended, and as administered by the U.S. Department of Education.
ITT Tech Military Scholarships: A military scholarship is available for first-time students who have maintained a grade point average of 2.0 or above in the first quarter of their program of study at participating ITT Technical Institutes. In order to stay eligible for the scholarship, students must maintain a grade point average of 2.0 or above each quarter.
There are also scholarships available through independent organizations and funds. Students are encouraged to apply for these outside sources of aid.
